So far this season, Aidan Rasmusson has run himself into the lead with his batting percentages. He leads the Griffins in batting average .320, slugging percentage .500, and on base percentage .481.
His best games yet were in the double header against Golden West (February 8). The first game found Rasmusson with 5 at bats, 1 run, 3 hits, 3 RBIs and 1 triple. In the second game against the Rustlers, Rasmusson hit 3, totaled 2 RBIs, and had 5 assists and 2 put-outs.
The 6'2 180 lb. sophomore is in his second season with Grossmont College. He is a graduate of Santana High.
Altogether this spring, Rasmusson has 50 at bats, 9 runs, 16 hits, 8 RBIs, 2 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run, 12 put-outs and 31 assists.
