Sophomore #1 Alizah Jamison was named 2nd Team All-Conference in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference this spring 2019!

Jamison's veteran experience allowed her to become a triple threat this season at the plate to easily drive the ball or lay down a bunt for a hit. With 61 plate appearances, Jamison had an average of 0.396 this spring with an on base percent of 0.467 and 13 stolen bases in conference.

Jamison stepped up to help her team in time of injuries also, stepping away from the outfield to play third base and shortstop.

Jamison began playing softball at Grossmont College in 2017. During the 2017-18 season Jamison played 38 games, scored 25 runs and 39 hits, and five RBIs.

Additionally, Jamison's hard work this year paid off as she has accepted an athletic scholarship to Ohio Valley University as a Fighting Scot to continue her softball career and education in Criminology.

The Fighting Scots compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference within the NCAA Division II. The school is the smallest member of the NCAA's Division II.

Congratulations to Jamison for her transition from a Griffin to a Fighting Scot fall 2019! We wish Jamison the best of luck at her new school and warm thoughts during the frigid winters.
