Blevin and Miller Grab Top Honors in Water Polo!

Freshman Ryan Blevitt from Grossmont High School has been honored with PCAC Player of the Year recognition.  Blevitt tied for 5th in the state in goals scored with 87 and helped lead the Griffins to a PCAC 5-1 record this past season.  The Griffins had "an up and down season playing 13 freshman, but really put things together towards the end of the season" comments Head Coach Ty Lackey.  Grossmont won the regular season PCAC Conference title, the young squad was outstanding in the conference tournament but came up short in the championship finale.  Blevitt is joined by Freshmen Cole Duffett and Travis Rosenkoetter on the 1st Team All-PCAC List - all three stars graduated from Grossmont High School.  On the women's side freshman Jasmine Miller from Valhalla high school led the Griffins in scoring (Top 25 in State) and picked up 1st Team All PCAC and All-Southern Region honors.  Madison Stockton a sophomore from Valhalla High School as well, added over 60 goals on the season and received 1st Team All PCAC recognition.  The Women's team finished 11-7 and 5-2 in the PCAC (3rd in PCAC). Jasmine Miller finished with 61 goals, 27 assist and 25 steals.  Alex Hultman and Cami Raley received 2nd team all-PCAC with Reny Carr (Goalie), Bea Schaeffer and Kayla Soria as all-PCAC Honorable Mention
