GRIFFIN MEN PLACE IN THE STATE TOP FIVE FOR GOALS, ASSISTS AND SAVES!

Five individuals from the men's water polo team place in the CCCAA state top five in goals scored, assists and saves.!
El Cajon, CA October 26, 2018

Grossmont's Cole Kammerer, Brock Kammerer, and Ryan Blevitt are in the CCCAA state top five for goals scored this season. C. Kammerer holds the second position with 88 goals, while B. Kammerer trails by one with 87 goals. Blevitt rounds out the state top five in goals scored with 80. In the Pacific Coast Conference, the men hold first, second and third.

B. Kammerer, in addition to teammate Anson Rassmussen, places again in the state top five, but this time in assists. This season B. Kammerer holds the fourth position in the state with 70 assists, just above Rassmussen whom holds fifth with 48 assists. C. Kammerer comes in at the ninth position with 38 assists. In the Pacific Coast Conference, the men holds the first, second and third positions.

Travis Rosenkoetter, our Griffin goalkeeper is in the state top five for saves this season! He is number four in the state, and number one in the Pacific Coast Conference with 195 saves. Well done Rosenkoetter!

Additionally, C. Kammerer, Rosenkoetter and B. Kammerer are in the conference top five for steals, with 40, 31 and 28 steals respectively. Ben Mussey is top five in the conference for assists as well. He has 27 assists so far this season.

Grossmont's men's water polo is ranked eighth in the state moving into regional playoffs. They finished the regular season 21-5 overall, 8-0 in conference play and move forward into the conference tournament as the number one seed, held at Southwestern College November 2-3.
