Grossmont men's water polo receives a downpour of post-season awards.

The post-season awards have been announced, and Grossmont men's water polo receives many! Head coach Tyrent Lackey receives the PCAC Coach of the Year award. Brock Kammerer receives All American First Team, All-Southern California First Team and Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) Player of the Year. Cole Kammerer receives All-Southern California Second Team and All-PCAC First Team. Ryan Blevitt, Isaiah Webster, Garrett Durado and Anson Rassmussen receive All-PCAC First Team, while Cole Duffett was named All-PCAC Second Team.

Head coach Lackey led the Griffins back to the PCAC Championship, and the team went on to earn a spot in the Southern California Regional playoffs as the seventh seed. The Griffin men managed to finish the season 24-6, staying in the state-wide top ten all season long. In the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference, they were undefeated (10-0) earning the number one seed in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) tournament.

Lackey's impact player this season was Brock Kammerer.

After being awarded athlete of the month for October, Kammerer captured All American First Team, All-Southern California First Team and Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) Player of the Year. Kammerer had a huge month of October, finishing with 45 goals and 31 assists while leading the Griffins to a PCAC title. He currently leads a talented Grossmont squad in scoring with 100 goals and 75 assists and scored a month-high five goals against Rio Hondo on October 5.

Kammerer's teammates hold similar accolades.

Cole Kammerer was honered with All-Southern California Second Team and All-PCAC First Team. Cole Kammerer made the Grossmont College top 20, and led the PCAC in goals for the season with 100.

All-PCAC First Team awards were given to Ryan Blevitt, Isaiah Webster, Garrett Durado and Anson Rassmussen for a stellar perfomance this season. Blevitt made the Grossmont College top 20, and led the PCAC in goals for the season with 101. Rassmussen led the PCAC in assists and ranked in the Grossmont top 20 as well with 48 assists.

Duffett receives All-PCAC Second Team. He finished the season with 36 goals, 17 assists, 28 steals, 15 ejections drawn and a 75% shooting average.
