Grossmont water polo traveled to Miramar College on Wednesday, October 23rd for its fourth conference game of the season. Both teams swam off with the win.
The women's game against Miramar began at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. #15 Jasmine Miller led the scoreboard with six goals, and #10 Maria Jimenez put up four goals for her team. Jimenez also had two assists against the Jets. By the end of the game, Grossmont scored 21 goals to Miramar's 11.
Grossmont's women's team remains undefeated in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (4-0) and prepare for its next match-up against conference rival San Diego Mesa College on Wednesday, October 30.
The Girffin men played after the women Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The final score for the men's game was 18-6. Leading scorers against the Jets were #7 Wilson Ark (5) and #19 Trevor Perez (4). #8 Skylar Garces scored one and assisted three.
The men's last conference game is also against SD Mesa College Wednesday, October 30. They are currently 3-1 in the PCAC.
