Grossmont women's basketball holiday tournament is in its 31 year. This year its scheduled to take place at Grossmont College December 28-30, 2018. Citrus, Cuesta, Cypress, LA Trade Tech, Santa Ana, Southwestern and Victor Valley are participating in this year's holiday tournament.

Citrus College finished fourth in the Western State-East Conference last season, in 2017-18. Their conference record was 4-6, and the Owls held an overall record of 14-14. Victor Valley also competes in the Western State-East Conference.

Last season, Victor Valley placed last (sixth) in the conference with a record of 0-10 and 2-22 overall.

In the Western State-North Conference, Cuesta College finished fifth last season at 2-8 and 10-14 overall.

Cypress College was a strong 2017-18 season finisher in the Orange Empire Conference, placing second. The Chargers went 13-1 in conference and 22-8 altogether. Sitting below Cypress in the Orange Empire was Santa Ana College- fourth (7-7 conference, 12-14 overall)! Will the Orange Empire be stronger this year than the South Coast-North Conference champion, LA Trade Tech?

LA Trade Tech finished last year's conference opponents 9-1, and 24-7 overall. Come find out!

Rival schools Southwestern and Grossmont face-off at this year's tournament. Last season the colleges tied for third in the Pacific Coast-South Conference, both holding 5-3 conference records (13-15 Southwestern, 13-16 Grossmont).
