GRIFFIN WOMEN'S TENNIS REMAINS UNDEFEATED IN PACIFIC COAST CONFERENCE

Grossmont women's tennis is 7-0 in conference this spring season.

El Cajon, CA March 20, 2019

The Griffin women's tennis team is undefeated in the Pacific Coast Conference so far this spring. Grossmont women's tennis is on track to capturing its seventh consecutive conference championship led by head coach Megan Haber.

Haber has led the women's tennis team to more than 10 conference championships since she began with the program in 1998-99. The women's last conference title was last season, 2017-18, where they went 13-0, and during the 2016-17 season, the women won conference 12-2. This season the team hopes to do the same.

"I feel very lucky to be able to work with such dedicated student-athletes year after year. Each season has different personalities which brings different energy to the courts. One thing is for sure, I am constantly learning and laughing," Haber said.

Grossmont competes against colleges within the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference including Southwestern, Imperial Valley, San Diego Mesa, San Diego City, Palomar, Desert and Mt. San Jacinto Colleges. The women remain with only five conference matches this season. Their next conference match is Thursday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. at San Diego City College.
