The Griffins Water Polo team was outstanding this week as they took early command of the PCAC Conference with a strong win at home vs Palomar.  Grossmont led and controlled the game from beginning to end as freshman Reny Carr from West Hills High School held the Comets to just seven goals.  Fresh off being named PCAC female athlete of the week, freshman Jasmine Miller from Valhalla High School continues to be dominant as she led the Griffins with 6 goals.  Grossmont moves to 5-4 overall on the season and 1-0 to start PCAC Conference play.  Madison Stockton from Valhalla High School scored three goals in the Palomar contest upping her season total to 27!  The Griffins will jump back in the pool on Friday September 29th and Saturday the 30th as members of the Mesa/Miramar tournament - games and times TBA
