Congratulations goes to Felicia Marshall for being the 1st 2017 PCAC female athlete of the week!! Marshall, a 5-foot-10 sophomore outside hitter from Clinton, Utah and a transfer from Western Wyoming Community College, has helped lead the Griffins to 3 wins in their first 4 matches and is averaging 3.07 kills per set.
In week 1, Marshall ignited Grossmont with 10 kills, 7 digs and 10 points as Grossmont swept Cerro Coso 25-11, 25-15, 25-18 and came back with 16 kills, only 3 errors, a .448 kill percentage and 18.5 points in a 25-19, 25-23, 25-12 cross-division sweep of Mt. San Jacinto.
In week 2, she had 7 kills and 9 points as the Griffins swept Mt. SAC 25-19, 25-23, 25-12, then contributed 10 kills, 12 digs and 13.5 points in a marathon 25-18, 25-19, 16-25, 23-25, 17-15 loss to Cypress, both in the Cypress 3-way tournament.
