Less than two days after suffering a 23-point defeat to Mt. San Antonio College, the GCC Men's Basketball team rebounded in solid fashion, turning a first half deficit into a 77-73 win over Grossmont College Nov, 11 in the Mt. SAC Tourney. Now 2-2, the Vaqs trailed 37-34 at the half before outscoring Grossmont by seven points in the second half to secure the win.
Powell Mousaian led Glendale with 17 points and had nine boards. Elijah Groves added 14 points and a game high 13 rebounds, Karson Peffer added 13 points and Tyson Jackson and Dahnte Russell had 12 points each as all five starters scored in double figures. Peffer also had 10 rebounds and Groves had five assists
Glendale competes in the Pasadena City College this week against Cypress College Thursday Nov. 16 a 1 pm and against Chabot College Friday Nov. 17 at 3 pm.
