Alex Red shirted at the University of Oregon during the 2018 season and then transfered to Grossmont for the 2019 season.

During the 2019 season, the Outfielder hit .225 with a home run and nine runs batted in across 22 games before being sidelined due to an injury.

After the Pandemic discharged the 2020 and 2021 seasons, he was a coach at Escondido High School for the 2021 season.
