Coach Brooke Callahan is the Head Men's and Women's Indoor volleyball coach and exercise science instructor at Grossmont College. 

She is a product of Grossmont College and as a player Callahan led Grossmont Beach Volleyball to it's first ever Team State Championship in 2016. Callahan earned a Division I scholarship to the University of California, Riverside competing in the Big West Conference as a right-side hitter. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology while being a member of the Highlander volleyball program.

After earning her bachelor’s degree and finishing her athletic career, Callahan returned to Grossmont as an assistant coach in 2018 and helped lead Grossmont Beach Volleyball to its second Team State Championship title in 2019, as well as a Beach Volleyball Pairs State Championship.

In Fall of 2019 she became the interim indoor volleyball head coach while still assisting the beach volleyball program and earning a master's degree in physical education at Azusa Pacific University. She led the Grossmont women’s indoor volleyball team to a conference championship in 2019 as a first-year interim head coach, and led the team to the State Championship tournament finishing 3rd in the state overall. 

Since then Callahan has taken over as both the Head Women's Indoor Coach and Head Men's Indoor Coach and has led the Women's program to four straight state championship appearances with two back to back undefeated PCAC conference championships, additionally earning back-to-back PCAC Coach of the Year awards.
