SAN DIEGO -- The Griffins top pair in Beach Volleyball Madi Bogle and Alana Embry have been named Pacific Coast Athletic Conference players of the week (Mar. 27-Apr. 2).

The #1 pair for Grossmont have gone undefeated, 13-0 (7-0 vs PCAC competition), since being teamed together at the beginning of March.

Bogle is a Sophomore that has already signed with Grand Canyon University for the 2023-24 academic year.  Last season, while being teamed up with Alexcis Morris and Brooklyn Anderson went 8-0 in the top pair for the Griffins.

Embry is a Division I bounce back from New Mexico State.  During her time in Los Cruces the Poway native dished out 300 assists in 29 matches.

The Beach Volleyball team will take on on San Diego Miramar and Mt. San Jacinto this coming Friday at Palomar College.  First serve is scheduled for 9:00 AM
