MERCED – Former Griffin and current Ottawa University of Arizona water polo player Jasmine Miller was named MVP of the NAIA Women’s Water Polo championships this past weekend.

The Ottawa University Firestorm won the NAIA Championship by defeating all of their opponents by an average of 16-7 score.

Miller scored eight goals and dished out three assists for 11 points.  She also won four of the five sprints that she participated in.  The Junior even chipped in with three saves from the field.

The Spirit of Ottawa University graduate nine of the 15 players on the roster.
