SAN DIEGO — The front running Grossmont College Griffins took care of business taking down the San Diego Mesa Olympians 16-10 in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match on Wednesday.

"To be honest," Head Coach Tyrent Lackey said after the game, "I was very disappointed with how we played. We knew we were going to win and then we played like that. We lacked discipline today and won an easy game because we knew we could win an easy game."

Ryan Beery scored six goals in the victory. Also joining him on the scoresheet were Ryland Humphrey and Alex Wenzel each with a hat trick, Raul Rico with a pair of goals, Ethan Lawler and Donald Nelson each had one goal. Seven of the ten players that go onto the scoresheet had multiple points.

Grossmont will travel to Cypress to take on the Chargers in a non-conference game tomorrow.
