EL CAJON — The Grossmont College Griffin Women's volleyball team split a Three-way tournament on Friday (Sept. 9). 

The day began with a three-set sweep to the hands of Moorpark (4-1) 25-23, 25-22, 27-25. 

After Moorpark took on Mt. San Antonio College, the Griffins (3-3) took down the Mounties in a similar sweep fashion, 25-18, 25-8, 25-23. 

The ladies will wrap up the non-conference portion of their schedule on Wednesday when they have a match at 1:00 p.m., when they host the defending Inland Empire Athletic Conference Champions Mt. San Jacinto. The day won't be over yet, as they also take on perennial powerhouse Irvine Valley out of the Orange Empire Conference at 6:00 p.m.
