Freshman Jeriah Drake from Lincoln High School had a break-out performance Friday evening scoring 14 points, she was 4-4 from the free throw line and 2-2 from 3 point range.  The Griffins led the contest from start to finish and with the 68-55 victory they advance to today's Consolation Championship as part of the 30th Annual Women's Basketball Tournament hosted by Grossmont College (Game time is 1:00 PM).  The Griffins will be playing rival Southwestern College who beat Victor Valley College Friday afternoon to advance.  Sophomore Kyra Bruesewitz also scored 14 points in the game versus Santa Ana and currently leads the Griffins in points scored with 10 per game.
