According to 3C2A Bylaws, California Community Colleges ARE NOT ALLOWED to offer Financial Assistance, Food Allowances, or Housing Assistance for Out-Of-State or any Student Athletes to Play at their Institutions. As with many California cities, San Diego, CA. has an extremely high cost of living! Prospective Students and their families must consider these high costs and plan for them prior to an out-of-state student, and even an out-of-city student moves to San Diego for their education. CA Community Colleges ARE NOT ALLOWED to provide scholarships to students for Athletic Participation. Federal Financial Aid Packages often do not cover the full costs related to being an out-of-state student in California.
