As Head Coach at Grossmont College in San Diego, Jamie Ivers has led the team to Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championships in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. She was honored as PCAC Coach of the Year in 2010, 2011 and 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. In 2011 and 2014, Ivers received the prestigious AVCA Two Year College Regional Coach of the Year award for the Southwest Region and was also named the CCCAA All-Southern California Co-Coach of the Year.

Ivers has led Grossmont Beach Volleyball to Team State Championships in 2016 and 2019, and also a Beach Volleyball Pairs State Championship in 2019.

In 2004, as an assistant coach, she helped guide the San Diego Mesa College team to finish as Runner Up in the California junior college championships and were undefeated PCAC Champs in 2004-05. Previously, Ivers was an assistant volleyball coach at NCAA Division I Idaho State University. She helped lead the ISU squad to its first 20 win season in 14 years. Ivers also served as the top assistant at NCAA Division II Adams State University in Colorado prior to her position at Idaho State University.

As a Division I scholarship athlete, Ivers was a Big West Conference all-conference performer at Cal State University Fullerton as an outside hitter where she earned a BS in Kinesiology while being a member of the Titan volleyball program. Prior to transferring and playing at Cal State Fullerton Ivers played for 2 seasons for the Gaels at St. Mary's College of California in the West Coast Conference. As a beach player, she won the prestigious Manhattan Open in 2000 and earned her AAA rating.

Ivers earned a second Masters Degree in Physical Education at Azusa Pacific University, and has an M.A. from National University in Cross-Cultural Teaching.

Ivers is also currently serving on the AVCA 2 -Year College Coaches Committee
