Grossmont Football Players Are Honored

Four stand-out football players have been honored as First Team All-Conference.  Sophomore Wide Receiver Adrian Tolbert from Castle Park High School finished the season with 14 Touchdown receptions and 863 yards.  Tolbert was the most prolific receiver in the Conference finishing 1st in yards, yards per game, and touchdowns.  Freshman Quarterback Brad Cagle from El Capitan High School passed for over 2000 yards and 19 touchdowns.  On the defensive side of the ball Freshman Defensive back Jordan Ellis from Valhalla High School finished 2nd in the State with 9 interceptions. Sophomore Linebacker Ryden Kerr from West Hills High School in Santee, CA also represents the defensive side of the ball as a 1st Team Selection.  The 235lb Linebacker tallied 56 tackles this season in 9 games played.
