WILMINGTON – The Grossmont College Men's Basketball team wrapped up the 2022 portion of the schedule with a 93-81 loss to No. 13 Los Angeles Harbor College.

Samuel Stewart IV led the Griffins (5-8, 0-2) with 22 points and nine rebounds. Brandon Tully had 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field.

LA Harbor (12-2) had four of their five starters finish in double figures including Louis Walker who had a game-high 31 points and 17 rebounds.

The big key for the victory for the Golden Eagles was that they successfully made four more free throws than Grossmont even attempted (19).

The Griffins will celebrate New Year's and then begin preparations for their longest road trip of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference when they go to Imperial Valley College (0-12, 0-2 PCAC). Then next Friday (Jan. 6) No. 10 San Diego Miramar (12-2, 2-0 PCAC) comes to The Griffin Arena.
