The Griffins kick off a big week, featuring 7 games in 4 days, with a thrilling 17-15 Over time win over the visiting Commet's of Palomar. With the win, the Griffins improve to 3-0 in PCAC conference play and 10-5 on the season. 

 

Sophomore Jake Simpson lead all scorers with 8 goals while Sophmores Lucas Draper found the back of the net 3 times. Sophomores Vaughan Clark and Zach Barclay also contributed to the effort with 1 and 2 goals, respectively. Freshman Center Xylen Rotsart scored 2 goals, drew two 5m penalties and an exclusion, while Freshman Ryan Motta led the team with 3 steals and 3 assists. Freshman Goalie Lon Kun-Szabo recorded 7 saves, an assist, and a steal playing the second half plus overtime. 

 

 

The Griffs travel up to Rio Hondo and #4 La Valley today. They will then make there way further up the coast to play #7 Cuesta and Nor Cal's Diablo Valley College Friday. Saturday they will see Nor Cal foe San Mateo and get a rematch with Citrus college to finish out the 7 game stretch.
