PCAC HONORS - JAMISON, MOHAMED AND FLECK

#1 Alizah Jamison, Softball, Grossmont: In a 7-0 loss to Mesa, an 8-0 win over Mt. San Jacinto, an 8-6 loss to Chaffey in the first game of a doubleheader and a 10-6 win in the second game, the freshman center fielder from Chula Vista Mater Dei High School went 6-for-13 hitting, scored 9 runs, stole 2 bases and drove in a run. Jamison is batting .419 in PCAC games.

 

 

 

 

#15 Khiya Mohamed, Softball, Grossmont: The freshman third baseman from Imperial High School went 7-for-14 for the week, driving in 8 runs and scoring 4 runs, contributing a 3-run home run, a triple and 2 doubles.

 

#19 Koby Fleck, Baseball, Grossmont: Fleck, a sophomore catcher from Valley Center High School, is hitting .383 on the season for the defending state community college champion G-House with a .486 on-base percentage and .483 slugging percentage. He helped lead the Griffins, who trail Palomar by two games and Mesa by one game entering the next-to-last week of the regular season, to a 2-1 series win over the Olympians last week when he went 8-for-15 with 2 doubles, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

Fleck went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in a 6-5 win over the Olympians in the series opener. He went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run scored and an RBI in a 9-8 loss in game 2. In the third game of the week, Fleck was 3-for-7, driving in 4 runs and scoring a run, as the Griffins won big in the series rubber game 23-7.
