Grossmont College softball pitcher #22, Lexi Schmehr, signs with Arizona Christian University for fall 2020.

Arizona Christian University is in Phoenix, Arizona and competes within the NAIA in the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC). ACU athletics is guided by four core values: Faith, Influence, Relationships, and Excellence. Their mascot is the Firestorm.

"We are all very proud and excited for Lexi to embark on her new hour set at ACU. She is an amazing player that has grown so much on and off of the field. I am so impressed with her progress and heart for the game. She will make a great addition to the ACU team and do amazing things next year. We will miss having her next season, but we know we will hear great things to come," states Grossmont College softball head coach, Vanessa Kellems.
