Sophomore first baseman #15 Gabby Clippinger signs with West Cliff University for fall 2020.

Clippinger finished spring season with 11 RBIs, 13 runs and 18 hits, including 8 doubles and 1 home run (January-March 2020). Her first collegiate homerun came against Orange Coast College on February 29, 2020. She was essential to the Griffins 12-6 overall record.

Head coach Vanessa Kellems states, "We are so excited and proud for Gabby to continue her softball career and education at West Cliff University. Gabby has grown as an individual and a player over the last two years at Grossmont.

When Gabby first came to us, she didn't think she was good enough to continue onto a university, but she gained the confidence and the skill to do so!

I am so glad to have had the opportunity to work with Gabby these past two years. I know she will be a huge impact player and achieve great things at West Cliff."

West Cliff University is located in Irvine, California. The West Cliff Warriors compete with the NAIA within the California Pacific Conference.
