Women's Soccer starting forward Carly Reese scores three goals in the game vs Cuyamaca College.

Tuesday, October 1-Grossmont College hosted Cuyamaca College in another women's soccer conference match-up. Freshman forward Carly Reese finished the game with a hat trick to secure the 6-0 win for Grossmont.

#7 Reese, Ramona native out of Ramona High, scored her first goal in the 9th minute from an attack by the Griffins to lead the score 1-0. In the 18', Reese polished her second goal with an assist from #10 Maya Mozo (2-0). She found her third and final goal in the 60' (hat trick!), after an assist from #6 Lauren Farris (4-0). With half of the season remaining, Reese may only score more!

Reese has five goals scored so far this season.

The Griffin women's soccer team is undefeated in conference (4-0) with an overall record of 4-3-1. The women are scheduled to play Southwestern College next (Friday, October 4) and conference rival San Diego Mesa College on Friday, October 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Grossmont College. 

Grossmont College competes within the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference within the California Community College Athletic Association.
