OUT OF STATE STUDENT ATHLETES

The Grossmont College Athletics Department would like to inform all Out-of-State Student-Athletes and their families that San Diego and California in general have very high costs of living. The average out-of-state student-athlete should realize that the $46 per unit rate for in-state tuition rises to $350 per unit ($1,050 per 3 unit Class) for out-of-state tuition fees and when coupled with high rent and transportation costs for San Diego, out-of-state students can expect to have to produce $16,000+ per semester to attend Grossmont College while also balancing a busy sports and academic schedule. Please note that Financial Aid may or may not cover all costs of attendance.  PLEASE CLICK HERE to access the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Form C which better outlines these costs. Student Athletes and their families must thoroughly review and then sign this form before students will be eligible to play collegiate sports at Grossmont College.
