Patrick Aure, MS - Athletic Academic Advisor

Patrick Aure has over twelve years of experience working with student athletes at the community college level.  He has been with Grossmont College Athletics Department since August 2007 as the Athletic Academic Advisor.  Prior to his time at Grossmont he was an Adjunct Counselor at Mt. San Antonio College, Citrus College, and Rio Hondo College serving both the general and student athlete populations.

Aure received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from California State University, San Marcos.  He also holds a Master's of Science degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Student Development in Higher Education.

Aure's athletic experience has allowed him to work with a number of student athletes who have successfully transferred to various four-year institutions across the nation.  His expertise with athletic transfer requirements have helped countless student athletes move on to continue their athletic and academic careers.  Aure has a strong understanding of the transfer eligibility requirements needed to compete at the NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels.  Aure finds great pride in being a part of the many success stories that have come out of Grossmont College. 

Aure is married to his wife Patricia of eleven years and has three wonderful daughters, Maddison (9), Kaitlyn (9), and Camryn (4).
