THREE GRIFFINS ACCEPTED TO SAN DIEGO STATE

EL CAJON -- Three members of the Griffin Women's tennis team have been accepted to San Diego State University for the Fall 2023 semester.

Amy Linquist, Ellie Capurro and Hannah Bodtke have all been accepted to be students at SDSU starting in the Fall of this year.

Linquist, a Covid-Sophomore out of Grossmont HS is currently playing as part of the top doubles team with Kat Busani.  The one time Foothiller is number two on the singles roster and will be studing Food and Nitrition in the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences.

Capurro, a freshman from Santana in Santee is one-half of the number two doubles team that had a comback of epic proportions against City recently, will be entering her Sophomore year in the Fall.  The Social Science for teachers major is currently not just on the tennis team as the number four singles player, but also the Director of Campus Activities for the Associated Students of Grossmont College.  This is Ellie's second year on the ASGC board.

Finally, Bodtke a Covid-Sophomore from Monte Vista HS in Spring Valley is the other half of the number two doubles team for Grossmont.  The number three singles player received an extra year due to the Covid Pandemic.  Hannah will be majoring in graphic design in the School of Art and Design.

All three student-athletes are looking forward to joining the club tennis team at SDSU.
